A creature with the upper body of a human and the legs, torso, and tail of a horse. Very powerful, protective, and has amazing stamina. Centaurs move very fast and can carry people on their backs. Most centaurs are angry, violent creatures and therefore, usually join the Drenykin ranks. However, there are Fatum centaurs. No one wants to mess with them either. A group of Fatum or Drenykin who are tied to one Sacred Tree together. There are communes all over the world. Each commune is protected by and tied to one Sacred Tree which provides the fruit that will give commune members their powers, as well as shields their powers from human view while within the boundaries of the Sacred Tree. The lands and sky protected by the Sacred Tree are considered to be Sacred lands. ( Image by truthseeker08 from Pixabay )
When the Fair Folk dreamed of the Prophecy, some humans were also visited in their dreams. They were invited them to volunteer for The Cause. The humans who had the dream were able to see through the shield created by The Sacred Tree. They approached the Fatum and Drenykin, as instructed, and offered to protect them. The McAllisters are descendants of those volunteers. They roam the Earth as both human and wolf, acquiring the ability to change forms at will when they reach maturity. Drenykin Descendants of the Wolf are known as Hellhounds. ( Image by Comfreak from Pixabay )
The Drenykin are Fair Folk who split off from the Fatum because of a difference in ideologies around how to deal with humans destroying the Earth Mother. Drenykin are not allowed to intermarry with humans. All Drenykin are required to be pure blood, meaning they are born with their powers and they are tied to their totems. A Fatum or Drenykin with specialized powers. All elves have pointed ears, can find hidden doorways, are completely silent, and are fierce fighters. Different elves may also have individualized powers, such as toxic saliva or the ability to create forcefields. Like faeries, elves may or may not have wings and the accompanying ability to fly. (
A supernatural being descended from the Fair Folk with individualized powers depending on whether he or she is attached to a totem, and other manifestations that occur during each individual’s “change.” They appear identical in their faery form as in their human form, except for their wings. They are each born with their own powers, which could be anything. New powers that have never been heard of before are often manifested. ( Image by Stefan Keller from Pixabay )
Each year for the month of July, Descendents of the Tree who belong to the Southern BC commune in Canada, return to the Sider lands for the annual “family reunion.” Youth who have recently turned fourteen come to the reunion to get their powers and receive The Knowledge. It is a place where everyone can safely change into their supernatural forms without fear of being seen by humans. Three Fires are held during the reunion. ( Image by Artie_Navarre from Pixabay )
During the Sider family reunion, three fires are held. They are called the Fires of the Elders. The first Fire of the Elders is when one of the Elders – a current or former Chosen One, if available – tells the Ode of Elders. It is a history of how the Fatum and Drenykin came to be and their purpose on Earth. The second Fire of the Elders is when the Elder shares the Prophecy with the new recruits. When Descendents of the Tree hear the Prophecy, they acquire The Knowledge which triggers a compulsion to save The Earth Mother. The third Fire of the Elders is a meeting of strategy. Reports are given and plans for the next year are made and shared.
The circular structure/house at the center of each commune. The person in charge of coordinating the care of the lands lives there. The fort is sacred and part of each commune’s heritage. It was the first structure created on their lands by the Fallen Fair Folk. It is used for private meetings and worship.
A flying, stone creature that has the ability to smell and taste evil. He has wings, pointed ears, two horns growing out of his head, sharp claws, and a studded, stone tail, which he uses as a weapon. His super strength and super eyesight enable him to overcome most enemies easily. ( Image by Enrique Meseguer from Pixabay )
An invisible force field that appears randomly in a given area. If someone stumbles into it, it causes his or her greatest desire, in that moment, to suddenly appear.
A stunningly beautiful woman with wings, claws, and fangs. She often carries a shield and sword. ( https://weheartit.com/entry/203494744 )
Descended from both Fatum (or Drenykin) and humans along any preceding branch of the family tree.
Several Fatum mothers congregated at the Sider Farm while waiting for the Final Chosen One to be exposed. Because the Final Chosen One was Abby Sider, the Meeting of the Mothers became a part of legend, as stories were retold over the years describing the day The Final Chosen One joined with Her Appointed Protector. Upper body of a human, lower body of a fish. Can control water – flow, temperature, etc. Can cause a person to be drowned by singing him to his death. Can communicate with animals and other creatures that live in the water. Requires clothing that dries quickly so he/she can turn into a merman/maid at will. ( Image by Willgard Krause from Pixabay )
Extremely attractive faery who can change size according to his or her desire. Extremely mischievous and tends to gravitate towards trees.
A bird that is born again – a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. It is a sacred bird born out of fire and therefore is able to withstand fire without harm. The Phoenix is an enlightened version of its past self. Therefore, he or she is usually calm, loving, and has a very strong sense of what’s right and wrong. The phoenix will only stand for good and what’s right. All Descendents of the Tree who become phoenix’s have been through a harrowing ordeal that has enlightened them. When they turn into their forms, they are unrecognizable. They are large, magnificent birds. ( Image by Mystic Art Design from Pixabay )
Part of the Fair Folk descendants’ lifeline to the Earth Mother. It is also necessary for half-human descendants to receive their powers. They must eat the Sacred Fruit when they turn fourteen years old so they can receive their powers. The Great Tree also protects communes from human view. Its shield encompasses the commune lands, waterways, and skies above. When a human is on Sacred land, they see only the forest, the water, and the sky. They can see Fatum and Drenykin in their human forms, but they are blind to supernatural forms. This is what allows Descendents of the Tree to be themselves while on Sacred lands. However, they are not protected from Drenykin, hence the importance of Descendents of the Wolf assigned to protect the Sacred lands. ( Image by Couleur from Pixabay )
The summer that Fatum and Drenykin youth receive their powers and attend the family reunion for the first time.
The plants, animals, and waterways that Fallen Fair Folk are tied to for survival. If the totem dies, the Elder will die too. All of the Fair Folk who are tied to totems are from the Fall. They are all Elders of either the Fatum or the Drenykin. Totems chose the Fair Folk by the colour of their souls. ( Image by David Mark from Pixabay )
